Daddy Bao was our second restaurant that opened in Tooting in 2017 to celebrate Joe’s (Frank’s dad) way of doing things. Joe arrived in the UK fresh off the boat in 1975 and worked 3 jobs tirelessly until he could open his own restaurant, a dream he’d always had - so this restaurant and our own-brewed yuzu pale ale were created in his honour.

In 2024 we opened Good Measure below Daddy Bao, a small cocktail bar that is open for drinks, private parties and events like our wine and whiskey tasting nights and seasonal celebrations - from the Mid-Autumn Festival to Lunar New Year.

Our team is now made up of 7 floor staff and 12 in the kitchen, serving around 500 people a week. We're open 6 days a week (Tue-Sun), serving up a menu of fluffy bao, sharing plates, a changing cocktail list, biweekly specials and a weekend brunch menu.
